Snyder Farm Sediment Reduction and Habitat Improvement Project - 2024

In addition to the Corle Body Shop Road, Miller, and Kohler projects in 2024, WPC also applied for CAP funds to complete a large stream restoration project on Yellow Creek at the Snyder Farm. With design and construction contracted to The US Fish and Wildlife Service - Partners for Fish and Wildlfe through the Pennsylvania Western University - California, this project installed 948 feet of modified mud-sills, 265 feet of rock wall, 14 single vanes (rock or log), 7 rock cross vanes, 6 log cross vanes, 169 feet of rock toe, and random boulder clusters on over 4000 feet of stream.
